Jones. Collectively, they bring more than seven decades of creative product

President, Co-Founder
As President, Joel leads Inov8’s strategic vision while maintaining hands-on
involvement in every program. Joel has been involved with hundreds of
development programs throughout his 36 active years of designing. He applies
this remarkable experience to every Inov8 program. Joel’s initial work was with
Bally Design in Pittsburgh. In 1977 he became VP of Industrial Design at Gunn
Associates in Boston. In 2002 he co-founded Inov8. Joel received a BFA in
Industrial Design from Carnegie Mellon University in 1977.

Business Development, Co-Founder
Daniel is the primary point of contact for most Inov8 clients, working with
development teams to assemble programs which will provide the most effective
outcome. Daniel’s initial development work was with Electric Boat on the Trident
Program. Following stints with Emhart and Thornton he established the
Industrial Design group at Prime Computer in 1986, overseeing all aspects of
appearance and ergonomics. Daniel joined Gunn Associates in 1990 and co-
founded Inov8 Design in 2002. Daniel holds an MFA from Smith College and
was a professor at Dartmouth College before turning to product development.
